Your EVMOTORCYCLE

So Honda will not sell you one, Yamaha don't wanna know and Suzuki… well you get the idea. You can't buy 'em yet, but you CAN build one yourself. On this website you will find information about how to build an EVMOTORCYCLE. There is a growing community of motorcycle enthusiasts trying their hand at conversions and the results are astounding!

Most of the components for your build are off-the-shelf items that are ready to purchase right now! The fun part is getting these components into your chosen chassis. Luckily there is a wealth of knowledge out there, and many others who have gone down the conversion road before you which gives you a distinct advantage, you now have a number of bikes to choose from that have already been converted. Many of these bikes are documented on this website. Many others can be found at http://www.evalbum.com

EVMOTORCYCLE Community

When you are done here why not pop on over to the Endless Sphere forums where there are literally hundreds of EVMOTORCYCLE enthusiasts just waiting to help you out, or if you just want to sit back and watch some videos then there is always YouTube.

A great place to start is on the EVMOTORCYCLE channel where Andy brings you through many of the stages necessary for creating your EVMOTORCYCLE.

Oh and if you decide to take on a bike, don't forget to share your experience with the communty and get taking photos and video. Don't forget to check out the latest in Electric Motorcycle racing at the 2009 Isle of Mann TTXGP where you can see that this really is, the future of motorcycling!

What are you waiting for? Choose a motorcycle and get to work! There are many bikes yet to be tackled such as Honda NSR125, Suzuki RGV250, Yamaha TZR. Noticing a trend? Yes they are all two stroke bikes (Oh and they are also wicked handling machines) and are probably waiting in some back yard to be resurrected by you!

You can come by these bikes (with busted engines) cheap and with a bit of perserverance they can be better than before.

So get your grinder out, dust off your soldering iron and stick some electricity into these bad boys. You might just be surprised by their performance!
